We are seeking an ILLUSTRATOR/ART-WORKER to join our boutique design studio in Wimbledon.

The Role

• Work across a wide range of creative projects, designing and illustrating in a variety of styles to suit our different brands and style guides.
• Create illustrations for our award-winning 3D greetings cards, character-led ranges and other product collections.
• Develop character artwork, product graphics and new design concepts from initial brief through to finished artwork.
• Work on product design and artworking across a broad range of formats and categories.
• Create visualisations, mock-ups and presentation materials to help bring new product ideas to life.
• Produce supporting marketing and promotional materials where required.
• Manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with the wider creative and product team.
• Assist with general creative and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the department.

Within the first 6 months, you will undergo a training probationary period to allow you to learn the fundamental skills necessary to complete high quality designs and prepare artworks ready for print.

The right candidate will have:

- Strong academic grades in addition to a high grade degree in a relevant design subject

- Excellent creative illustration and design capabilities

- A high level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

- A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to multi-task

- The ability to learn quickly, think creatively and solve problems logically

- An enthusiastic can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to manage own workload

- A professional and friendly manner

- A passion for design trends within the gift and greetings card market

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a portfolio with images showing their illustration and design skills, in addition to their CV.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
