Full job description
Henderson Design Group is the UK’s leading wallpaper designer, manufacturer and online retailer, based in Hartlepool. Across our three distinct home decor brands, I Love Wallpaper, Lust Home and Lucie Annabel, we design, print, sell and dispatch wallcoverings from our North East operation. We are ambitious, fast-moving and continually evolving, with long-term plans to grow our brands, expand our reach and strengthen the way we connect with customers across every digital touchpoint.
The opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a creative producer who wants to own content production across three growing home decor brands. You will sit at the heart of our creative team, working closely with our Creative Director, Photographer and designers to bring shoots and campaigns to life. You will see the content you plan and produce go live across our brands, and you will free up our creative specialists to do their best work by taking ownership of the planning, logistics and styling that make great content happen. The role would suit someone who loves the practical, hands-on side of content creation, from room sets and props to locations and schedules, and who takes real pride in making shoots run smoothly.
About the role
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Creative Producer is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering content production across all of the Henderson Design Group brands.
Acting as the operational hub of the creative team, you will make sure photography, video, social and campaign content is delivered efficiently by managing production logistics, shoot preparation, location sourcing, room-set creation, prop management and workflow coordination. This is a varied, hands-on role based at our Hartlepool studio, with travel to location shoots.
Key responsibilities
Own the planning and delivery of content production across our three brands, keeping shoots running smoothly and freeing our creative specialists to focus on their craft.
Production Planning & Coordination
- Manage the scheduling, planning and coordination of all content production activities across multiple brands.
- Develop and maintain production timelines, shoot schedules and creative workflows.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief.
- Identify production requirements and proactively resolve logistical challenges.
- Continuously review production practices to improve output, quality and delivery speed.
Shoot Production
- Lead the preparation and organisation of studio and location-based photography and video shoots.
- Coordinate shoot logistics, including equipment, transport, schedules and resources.
- Ensure all locations, room sets and supporting materials are fully prepared ahead of shoots.
- Deliver shoots within the agreed budget.
- Ensure the team on set is compliant with industry standards and legal expectations including health and safety.
Room Set Creation & Styling
- Create and coordinate room sets for photography and video content.
- Source furnishings, accessories and styling elements that align with brand requirements.
Prop Sourcing & Asset Management
- Source, purchase and manage props required for content production.
- Maintain and organise prop inventories and studio assets.
- Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of production materials.
Location & Supplier Management
- Research, source and secure suitable shoot locations.
- Build and manage relationships with venues, agents, suppliers and freelance partners.
- Negotiate bookings and coordinate all external production requirements.
Content Support
- Support the production and delivery of social and digital content across multiple channels, in line with briefs from the wider team.
- Assist in creating mixed-media content production where required.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience in a Creative Producer, Production Coordinator, Content Producer or similar role.
- Experience coordinating photography, video or content production projects from planning through to delivery.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
- Experience sourcing locations, props, suppliers and production resources.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent planning, scheduling and coordination abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to production challenges.
- Work independently with limited supervision, communicating up, down and laterally to key stakeholders within the business.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Full UK driver's licence.
Desired but not essential
- Experience within interiors, home decor, lifestyle, retail or design-led brands.
- Knowledge of photography and video production workflows.
- Experience with social content creation and digital marketing assets.
- Experience working with external agents.
About you
We are looking for someone highly organised, proactive and creative, with strong commercial awareness and a real eye for detail. You will be a natural coordinator who enjoys keeping lots of moving parts on track, comfortable working across different teams and external partners, and happy switching between three brands with their own distinct looks. Above all, you will be passionate about creating exceptional visual content.
What we offer
This role gives you the chance to own content production across three growing consumer brands at a business that designs, manufactures, sells and dispatches its own products. You will be close to the full creative process, from planning and styling through to the finished shoot, working alongside our creative, product and ecommerce teams. It is a role with real variety, ownership and the chance to see the impact of your work.
- Full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week.
- Based at our Hartlepool studio (on-site).
- Salary £33,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
- Discretionary additional annual leave, increasing with each year of service up to 5 years.
Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Additional leave
- Company events
- Company pension
- Free parking
- On-site parking
- Sick pay
- Store discount
