About Us
We are a successful media enterprise firm with 12 years of experience in business, production, and distribution across multiple projects in film and video. We work on a variety of projects, ranging from large TV productions and documentaries to podcast projects, branded content, interviews, social media videos, and educational content.

Job Location
This is an in-house, in-person position based at our main office. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite as part of our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled individual with strong video editing experience. Experience in the media production sector is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of editing processes for projects such as podcasts, interviews, social media videos, educational videos, and larger production projects. Experience with green screen chroma key editing is beneficial but not the main focus of the role.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various projects. Additionally, this role involves videography and recording podcasts, with approximately 30% of the time spent outside standard working hours, including most weekends.

You will:
Work on a variety of internal and external projects, including editing video content for podcasts, interviews, engaging videos for social media platforms, informative educational videos, larger TV-style productions, documentaries, and other media projects.
Collaborate closely with our content creation and marketing teams to develop high-quality visual content that aligns with our strategic goals.

Job Duties:
Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
Use green screen chroma key techniques where required to enhance the visual impact of selected projects.
Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of all video content.
Collaborate with stakeholders across production and creative departments to meet project objectives.
Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to produce compelling videos.
Review and revise video drafts, ensuring final products align with company standards and brand guidelines.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to other team members.

Skills Required:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator.
Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Final Cut Pro.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Why You Should Join

This role is intended to further your professional and personal development.
We're an established company with year-over-year growth.

Your Impact

Experience, Skills & Qualifications (Required):
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in video editing; demonstrable experience with professional video editing and production techniques.
Experience with chroma key / green screen editing is beneficial.
BSc in Film Studies, Media Production, or similar/equivalent.
Creative and technically proficient, comfortable generating and iterating on visual content.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English.
Highly organized, with effective time-management and self-scheduling abilities.
Able to handle the requirements of an evolving role and situational/organizational changes.
Detail-oriented, able to keep abreast of professional, technological, and working practice changes.
UK Right to Work – Passport / VISA / BRP.
