This is a varied and rewarding role that combines relationship building, event management, strategic planning and team leadership. As the welcoming face of the school, you will lead the admissions journey across Nursery, Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form, managing the admissions pipeline from initial enquiry through to enrolment and ensuring every family receives an exceptional experience. With responsibility for admissions events, international admissions, reporting and pupil forecasting, you will play a key role in supporting pupil recruitment and helping families discover all that Leweston has to offer.

Working closely with the Head you will help deliver the school's recruitment objectives while ensuring our admissions processes are professional, responsive and aligned with the exceptional educational experience we offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process from enquiry through to enrolment.
• Coordinate school visits, assessments, offers and admissions communications.
• Lead and deliver all admissions events, including Open Days, Visit Weeks, Assessment Days and Sixth Form evenings.
• Monitor admissions performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
• Produce pupil number forecasts and regular admissions reports.
• Manage international admissions and support compliance with UKVI Student Sponsor Licence requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective families, feeder schools and international agents.
• Manage the short-stay boarding programme as a recruitment pathway.
• Line manage the Prep and Nursery Registrar.
• Work collaboratively with the Head and Marketing Manager to support pupil recruitment and retention.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in admissions, student recruitment, registrar services, sales or customer relationship management.
• A proven ability to manage enquiries and convert interest into successful outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and the confidence to plan and deliver events.
• Experience of using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot or similar.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.
• The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Desirable:

• Experience within an independent school or education setting.
• Knowledge of international admissions and UKVI requirements.
• Experience working with international recruitment agents.
• Previous line management experience.
