East Asian kitchen crew – DON DON (Asian Fast-Casual Concept)

Location: 6a Miles St, London SW8 1GX
Job Types: Full-time or Part time
Immediate Start Available

About Us

We are DON DON — a growing fast-casual Pan-Asian cafe focusing on quality ingredients, speed, and consistency.

We are not a traditional chef-driven kitchen. We operate with clear systems, SOPs, and structured recipes to deliver consistent, high-quality food quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • High-volume preparation (rice, proteins, sauces, vegetables)
  • Bowl assembly during service
  • Following exact recipes & portion control
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
  • Supporting team during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in fast-paced kitchens (poke, sushi, casual dining, catering)
  • Experience on Bao, Donburi, Noodle, Bakery, Milk/bubble tea
  • Understanding foundations of East Asian cooking
  • Comfortable following SOPs and checklists
  • Fast, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Strong team player with positive attitude
  • Willing to learn and improve

Preferred Experience

  • Chinese, Japanese and Southeast Asian restaurants
  • Asian bakery or bubble tea shops
  • Fast-paced restaurant environments

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK (required)
  • Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Training
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Asian catering (preferred)

Additional Information

  • Trial shift required for all candidates
  • Work Location: In person (SW8, London)

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
