Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Electrical Lecturer and Assessor to join our educational team. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical training programmes and assessing learners’ competencies in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and relevant technical expertise in electrical systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of future professionals while fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and informative electrical training sessions to learners of varying levels
  • Assess learners' practical skills and theoretical knowledge against recognised standards
  • Remain up to date with the changes to industry standards
  • Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and compliance with industry requirements
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to facilitate learners’ progress
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, attendance, and progress reports
  • Organise and coordinate training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of modules
  • Support learners in understanding complex electrical concepts through clear communication
  • Ensure all training activities adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policies

Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or related fields
  • Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Competency in using IT tools for presentation, assessment documentation, and record keeping
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple training programmes efficiently

Pay: £300.00 per day
