Cunninghame Housing Association’s Direct Works team is recruiting an Apprentice Joiner, Apprentice Plumber, and Apprentice Electricians – and we’re looking for motivated people who want to make a real impact in our communities.

Whether you're a school leaver, looking for a career change, or just keen to work with your hands and learn from experienced professionals, this is your chance to start a rewarding journey.

Choose Your Path

Apprentice Joiner

If you love creating, fixing and working with timber, this is the trade for you. From fitting kitchens to repairing doors and frames, you’ll learn how to shape homes and spaces that make a difference.
(Paid at CITB National Rates — £8.00/hour)

Apprentice Plumber

Interested in how things flow? You’ll learn everything from installing bathrooms and heating systems to diagnosing leaks and maintaining safe, efficient plumbing across our properties.
(Paid at SNIJIB National Rates — £8.00/hour)

Apprentice Electrician

If you’re curious about how things work behind the switches and sockets, this path lets you work alongside qualified electricians delivering safe, modern electrical installations and repairs.
(Paid at SJIB National Rates — £8.16/hour)
