Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
UK | Days and afternoon Shifts | Overtime Available

Salary: Competitive + Shift Premium + Profit Share

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Engineering & Maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of automated and bespoke machinery, helping to keep production running at peak performance while contributing to exciting improvement projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
  • Supporting installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Working on presses, conveyors, robots and bespoke manufacturing equipment
  • Using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities
  • Minimising downtime and maximising production efficiency
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

City & Guilds or equivalent qualification

Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and manuals

Good IT skills and experience using maintenance systems

Desirable Skills

  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Knowledge of power presses and forming processes
