Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician specialising in Sub Stations to join our team. This role involves maintaining, installing, and repairing electrical systems within sub station environments, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, practical experience with electrical systems, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and safety-conscious organisation dedicated to high standards of electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems within sub stations in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using specialised diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to plan maintenance schedules and implement system improvements.
  • Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times during operations.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as an electrician within industrial or sub station environments.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and saws.
  • Strong electrical experience including knowledge of circuit design, wiring, and system troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations governing electrical work in industrial settings.
