Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to wire a kitchen and a couple other items on a property refurbishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
  • Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Valid UK driving licence
