Where will you be working?

At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?
We’re looking for Graded Electricians and Approved Electricians who take pride in safe, high-quality work, on a full-time basis for one of our large projects located in Barrow .

You’ll carry out installations to the highest standards, confidently interpret technical drawings, and work independently to get the job done right.

You’ll also play a key role in keeping projects on track—requisitioning materials, supporting others, and ensuring everything meets industry regulations.

What you’ll bring
  • Meet the requirements for the Electrician grade
  • Have 2+ years’ post-training experience in installation or maintenance
  • Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Inspection & Testing, such as:
  • City & Guilds 2391-52
  • EAL Level 3
  • NET Advanced Assessment of Competence (AAC)
  • Or an equivalent qualification
  • SC Clearance / not essential as this can be arranged
