Full-Time Electrician – Renewable Heating

LC Installations Ltd is a fast-growing heating and renewable energy company specialising in air source heat pump installations across Norfolk.

We are looking for a full-time qualified electrician to join our expanding team. This is a permanent PAYE position offering a good opportunity to become part of a growing company with a strong focus on high-quality workmanship, customer service and professional installations.

The Role

The role will primarily involve carrying out the electrical side of our air source heat pump installations, including:

  • Wiring and connecting air source heat pumps and associated heating controls
  • Installing electrical supplies, isolators, protective devices and related equipment
  • Testing, inspecting and certifying completed electrical work
  • Working alongside our heating engineers to complete installations
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues where required
  • Managing your own workload and completing jobs independently
  • Occasionally assisting our heating installers with other aspects of installations when required

Our work is predominantly for private domestic customers, with the majority of jobs located within approximately one hour of Norwich.

On average, we currently require around two air source heat pump installations per week to be electrically connected, tested and certified.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate must:

  • Be a fully qualified electrician
  • Hold the necessary qualifications and competency to test, inspect and sign off electrical work
  • Have experience working with heating systems and associated controls
  • Be comfortable working independently and managing jobs on their own initiative
  • Have a good, flexible work ethic
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Take pride in producing a high standard of workmanship
  • Be willing to assist other members of the installation team when required
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

Previous experience with air source heat pumps or renewable heating systems would be an advantage, although additional manufacturer or heat pump training will be provided where necessary.
