Maintenance Electrician – £30 per hour (CIS or Ltd Company)

Ongoing Contract | 35 Paid Hours per Week | Double-Time Weekend Overtime

What’s on Offer?

  • £30 per hour (CIS or Ltd Company).
  • Ongoing contract.
  • 35 paid hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 4:30pm break.
  • Weekend overtime paid at double time.
  • £147 on-call allowance per seven-day period, plus four hours’ pay.
  • Full training before joining the on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair CCTV, locking systems, BMS, heating, ventilation and emergency lighting.
  • Complete weekly fire alarm checks and routine inspections.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
  • Join a one-in-five on-call rota, covering seven consecutive days when scheduled.
  • Follow site security procedures for keys, radios and personal defence.

Requirements

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Time-served electrical maintenance experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive.
  • Basic Disclosure essential, with full disclosure required when working on site.
  • Willingness to complete site-specific training.
  • Flexibility to undertake on-call duties and reactive maintenance.
