Electrician

Location: Buckingham
Salary: From £42,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and project-management capability
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced electrician with a strong commercial background who is confident working independently and managing a wide range of projects. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical installation, inspection, testing and commissioning within industrial, commercial and domestic environments.

Our work is carried out across the local counties and throughout the UK. This role has a strong requirement for travel and working away from home, while taking responsibility for managing projects and ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2)
  • A valid ECS Gold Card
  • Current BS 7671 18th Edition qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing qualification, or an equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience across industrial, commercial and domestic installations
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating work on site
  • The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to travel throughout the UK and work away from home when required
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A customer-focused and quality-driven approach
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK
