Full job description

Elite Electrical NW, a Wigan‑based electrical contracting business delivering high‑quality renewable and electrical installations across the UK, is seeking fully qualified Electricians to join our team for newly awarded Solar PV and Battery Storage contracts.

We are looking for reliable, professional engineers who take pride in their work and can represent our business to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of Solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage units
  • AC/DC wiring, testing, and commissioning
  • Working as part of a structured installation team
  • Ensuring all work meets current regulations and internal quality standards
  • Completing evidence submissions and installation documentation
  • Travel and overnight stays as required (accommodation provided)

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Gold ECS/JIB Card
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection
  • Strong electrical installation background
  • Full UK driving licence

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Solar PV installation qualification
  • Battery storage qualification
  • Experience working on funded schemes (e.g., SHDF)
