About Sunseeker International
Sunseeker was founded on a bold vision: to create a new kind of yacht and redefine what was possible on the water. From our earliest designs in 1967, we’ve pushed boundaries and reshaped the motor yacht industry through innovation, craftsmanship and relentless ambition.
At the heart of every Sunseeker lies a legacy of expert hands and meticulous attention to detail, skills refined and passed down through generations. These are the qualities that set our yachts apart - and the qualities that continue to drive our craft today.
In a world increasingly defined by automation, we remain committed to building handcrafted, handfinished boats. With over 1,800 talented team members across our busy shipyards - from longserving specialists to more than 180 apprentices - our Sunseeker workforce reflects the strength, diversity and pride of our local community. It’s this blend of heritage, skill and passion that makes our shipyards unlike any other place in the world.
Who We Are Seeking
We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our production team and play a key role in delivering world-class vessels to customers across the globe.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced electricians who are passionate about quality workmanship and take pride in completing installations to the highest standards. You will be detail-oriented, methodical, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Whether your experience comes from marine, automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or commercial electrical environments, you will have a strong understanding of electrical installation practices and a commitment to excellence.

As an Electrician at Sunseeker, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of electrical systems throughout our luxury motor yachts. Working from engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and build specifications, you will install a wide range of AC and DC systems that form a critical part of the yacht's functionality.
Your day will involve routing and installing wiring systems, fitting electrical equipment, manufacturing and installing wiring looms, and ensuring all work is completed to the exacting standards expected of a world-leading yacht manufacturer. Working closely with colleagues across multiple trades, you will contribute to achieving production milestones whilst maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Example Responsibilities Include
- Installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures associated with luxury yacht manufacture
- Planning and installing trunking and conduit runs accurately and efficiently
- Wiring AC and DC appliances in line with technical specifications
- Manufacturing and installing electrical wiring looms using current techniques and standards
- Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and design specifications
- Terminating and testing electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance
- Fitting GRP mouldings and carrying out minor gelling work where required
- Working methodically to precise tolerances whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve production targets and build schedules
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working practices
- Using and maintaining specialist company-supplied tools responsibly
- Following safe operating procedures and working in accordance with build specifications
To Be Considered for This Role You Should Have
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years' electrical installation experience
- Previous marine electrical experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Apprentice-trained status or equivalent hands-on electrical experience
- The ability to read and accurately interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications
- Experience installing, terminating, and testing electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- A methodical and thorough approach to electrical installation work
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- A responsible attitude towards tools, equipment, and workplace safety
- A good general level of education
- IEE 18th Edition qualification, or an equivalent electrical qualification, would be advantageous
