Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties...
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
- Read and interpret job specifications and quotations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on our company app.
What we are looking for...
- Proven electrical experience in a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but we are open to speaking with those that are part or nearly qualified.
- Experience in electrical testing and EICR's is preferred.
- 2391 qualification or working towards it is preferred.
