About Us:

We are the leaders in EV chargepoint installations with over 50,500 installations performed across the UK alone. Founded in 2020, our team saw a major opportunity to do better to help our planet reach it’s zero emissions goal by 2035. We help our clients Plug In everyday in the comfort of their homes or at their workplace by supplying and installing our partners EV chargepoints. We have a large team of expert engineers that specialise in the install of electric chargepoints, providing a bespoke and personal service to all our clients.

The Role:

You must be willing to learn or know about the EV industry and happy to work with several different manufacturers products. You must have a good understanding of domestic and commercial electrical installations and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an electrician.

The ideal candidate will also be happy to work in a hybrid environment working across both our Electrical and EV projects. City & Guilds EV installer training is preferred, if you are due to or willing to take the training, please flag this to us. We expect a high level of customer service to be supplied by all our engineers and a good knowledge of the products you are installing.

The role will consist of:

  • Installation of EV chargers
  • Repair / Fault finding of EV chargers
  • Surveying EV charger installations.
  • To use company CRM software to upload photos and electrical certificates.
  • To keep up-to-date with changing legislation.
  • Constant communication with office team, head engineer and the onsite team.
  • You may from time to time be required to work on other electrical contracts.

Required skills:

  • 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Electrical Installation Level 2 & 3.
  • 2391-52 Testing & Inspection or equivalent (Preferred)
  • NVQ3 & AM2 (Preferred)
  • Electric Vehicle Charging (Preferred)
  • Competent at completing EV installations and carry out full testing of the installation.
  • 5 years experience as an electrician.

Package:

  • Company van and fuel card provided
  • Full-time - 8.5 hours per day (Including 30min lunch break)
  • Overtime available but not a requirement
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays - We are open bank holidays and you can work these days and have them back as extra holiday.
  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
