Full job description

At MacGregor and MacDuff, we specialise in kilt hire and kilt sales for various events but mostly for weddings. With over 40 years’ experience, we have built a strong reputation for great customer service and for selling the best quality products.

As Wedding Support you will be working within our communications team based in Glasgow and be responsible for managing customer relationships via both phone and email. Every customer is different with differing needs but the majority of our communications are about weddings and planning kilt hire or kilt sales for a wedding. It is vital that you understand the requirements of each customer and tailor your recommendations to suit them. You must be able to thrive in a busy environment with the ability to multi-task and maintain a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere within your surroundings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to offline and online customer communications
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Maintaining close relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Supporting other departments within the company

We are looking for full time position which is 40 hours per week, on a rota basis, opening hours are 9am to 7pm 7 days a week.

Opportunity to be enrolled into our company pension scheme.

Experience dealing with customers is preferred however full training within all departments will be given in order to make you fully confident in your role. What we do require in large measures is:
