Full job description

Denca are looking for a permanent employee in the North West to join our software team covering PLC Control Systems and related software & hardware engineering applications.
Experience required on mainstream PLC Systems e.g. Rockwell (AB), Schneider, Siemens, and Mitsubishi etc.

This role is based at our offices in Widnes and at our clients’ sites.

  • Development of PLC system design from customer requirements.
  • Design input to system development.
  • PLC programming of control systems from given designs (customer URS).
  • Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (FDS/FAT/SAT).
  • Working to customer deadlines within a project team.
  • Installation, configuration and testing work at customer sites.

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering / Computer related or appropriate engineering qualification (degree/HNC/HND) or comparable industrial experience.
  • Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team.
  • Willingness to travel and work away if/when projects require.
  • 5 Years experience preferred.
  • Driving licence.
