Type: Permanent Position (Not a Zero-Hour Contract)

Our award-winning 24/7 Response Centre is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that customers receive fast, professional assistance whenever they need it. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for dedicated Night Shift Call Handlers to join our friendly team in Glasgow.

The Role

As a Night Shift Call Handler, you'll be the first point of contact for customers reporting emergency property issues outside normal working hours. Every call is different, and you'll play a vital role in ensuring the right help is provided quickly and professionally.

Typical calls may relate to:

  • Emergency housing repairs
  • Out-of-hours contractor coordination
  • Liaising with emergency services and response teams where required

Typical Tasks include:

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Record accurate
  • Assess situations and prioritise emergency responses
  • Dispatch contractors and coordinate with internal and external teams
  • Provide reassurance and clear communication to customers during stressful situations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all calls are managed in line with company procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An excellent communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Calm, organised and able to remain composed under pressure
  • Comfortable using computer systems and accurately recording information
  • A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills

Previous experience in a contact centre, emergency services, housing repairs, customer service or facilities management is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
