Full job description

Safehouse specialises in maintaining properties for landlords, letting agents and homeowners who want repairs carried out quickly and with minimal fuss, whether it is planned or reactive maintenance.

Safehouse is looking for an experienced Electrician to join our growing team as a contractor to assist with the increase volumes being booked in. The suitable candidate will have to meet the following expectations: -

Key responsibilities:

· Work on all type of installations

· Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment

· Remain in compliance with current Building Regulations that pertain to electrical work

· Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears

· Complete work orders and record material used on jobs

· Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation

· Use blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects

· Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans

· Maintaining accurate updates on services and installations through our PDA system

· Must work to high standards to meet with company's and customers’ expectations

· Deliver excellent customer service

****Use of personal vehicle is required.****

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

  • NAPIT/NICEIC (preferred)
  • 18th Edition (required)
  • Intitial periodic testing and inspection (2391-52) (required)
