We provide safe and effective services that are inclusive, supportive, and patient centred and our aim is to be the main private ambulance provider of choice for local hospitals.

We are based in Peterborough and we support hospitals in and around the East of England area. We are currently looking to offer flexible contracts that enable you to effectively manage your homelife whilst practicing and developing your skills in the ambulance service.

As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will be responsible for assessing patients, providing emergency treatment, making diagnoses, dressing wounds and monitoring and administering life saving medication, and pain relief . You will work with colleagues of varying qualification levels as a double-crewed team. You will be based at a local ambulance station, large hospital or work with large teams at various events. No two shifts are the same and you will drive a range of ambulance service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) circumstances and carry out checks to vehicles at the start of and during each shift, to make sure they are clean, have fuel and are appropriately stocked. You will also be required to complete relevant documentation and use communication equipment to communicate with your colleagues.

You must hold the FREC 5, IHCD or AAP qualification and a Certificate of Emergency Response Ambulance Drive (CERAD) Level 3 (or equivalent IHCD) qualification.

The organisation is committed to safeguarding children and adults and therefore any appointment will be subject to a DBS check and references covering your previous 5 years of employment will be required.

Shifts available on frontline A&E, events and school support.

The pay rate for this job is between £16.02 to £26.30 per hour dependent on status (i.e. casual worker or self employed) Enhanced rates are paid for weekend and unsocial hours working.
