- Respond promptly to calls, operating effectively both independently and as part of a clinical team
- Accurately record, process, and share patient information, including observations and treatment, with relevant healthcare partners
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Control Room and colleagues in line with operational and clinical protocols
- Ensure all equipment is checked, maintained, and ready for operational use, including completion of required documentation (e.g. vehicle and equipment checks)
- Adhere to organisational policies, including confidentiality, data protection, and clinical governance standards (including Caldicott and ISO requirements where applicable)
- Safely assist with the movement and handling of patients using appropriate techniques and equipment following risk assessment
- Provide clinical assistance within your level of competence in a variety of environments, including static event settings
- Contribute to service improvement through participation in training, equipment trials, and feedback processes
- Act as Incident Officer when first on scene until relieved, following major incident procedures
- Maintain and develop professional skills through ongoing training, CPD, and organisational development frameworks
Essential Requirements
- Valid qualification (one of the following):
- Emergency Care Responder 3 (ECR3)
- Emergency Care Responder 4 (ECR4)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (in date or willingness to obtain)
- Have experience with being the clinician in charge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to travel to various event sites across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Desirable Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in event medical cover or emergency response
- Additional medical or clinical qualifications
What We Offer
