Full job description

Female Community Care Assistant Driver - Full Time

Applicants should live within reasonable travelling distance of the South Gloucestershire area (20 minutes).

Please note: unfortunately, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.

Pay: £13.50/hour weekdays | £14/hour weekends | £20.25 Bank Holiday |

Paid mileage and travel time, induction, pension, Blue Light Card, uniform provided

Permanent | Part time | We have full time positions available as well
Regular clients and local runs where possible.

The Role

We are looking for reliable carers who want stable long-term work and genuinely enjoy building relationships with people in the community.

You’ll be supporting a small number of service users - both younger and older adults - in the Yate, Frampton Cotterell, Winterbourne, Emersons Green areas.

Your work will include:

  • Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and medication prompts
  • Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Supporting with meal preparation and light domestic tasks
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, or community activities
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in daily life
  • Maintaining accurate and respectful care records

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping people live comfortably and confidently at home.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in domiciliary, residential, or community care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Flexibility to work a mix of mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Experience supporting clients with personal care or complex needs
  • Confident in providing companionship and promoting independence
