At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Worcester, part of Emmaus Multi Academy Company, we are so much more than a school – we are a close-knit, supportive family where Christ’s love is reflected in all that we do. We are proud of our warm, welcoming community and are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to our shared mission of providing an exceptional education for every child. We are an inclusive school that values every member of its community. We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity and high-quality education for all pupils.
We are looking to recruit a temporary Level 1 Teaching Assistant for a child in Reception with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who requires consistent 1:1 adult support throughout the school day to access learning, support emotional regulation and develop communication skills. This provision is delivered in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCo. The dedicated Teaching Assistant provides responsive scaffolding, supports understanding and interaction and facilitates engagement in both structured activities and continuous provision, including transitions, indoor and outdoor learning, playtimes and lunchtimes.
Putting our children and young people first, always.
“Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice.”
The successful candidate will play a key role in our school vision by supporting the day-to-day Teaching Assistant activities. Our teachers and support staff are talented, professional, supportive, caring and ambitious to achieve success.
