Do you have a passion for coding and technology? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and inspiring young people? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Code Cadets is looking for enthusiastic tutors to help deliver our Coding Summer Camp for children aged 8–14 at Lomond School, Helensburgh.

We’re seeking individuals with coding experience and a positive, energetic attitude. Experience working with children is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

This role would be particularly well suited to Computer Science students, STEM undergraduates, trainee teachers, recent graduates, or anyone with a strong interest in coding and education.

Note: this is a one week post. The camp runs 29 June to 3 July - 10 am to 3 pm.

Must be prepared to have PVG Scheme update, paid by us.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Deliver coding and technology sessions to children aged 8–14+ (online tutorials are provided)
  • Support children with projects and problem-solving activities.
  • Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the setup and supervision of camp activities.
  • Act as a positive role model and ambassador for Code Cadets.
