Job Overview

Operations Manager – Residential & Supported Living Services

Salary: £50,000+ per annum (Higher pay negotiable for the right candidate)
Location: Hampshire & Dorset
Hours: Full Time
Driving Licence: Essential

About Us

Sandbourne Care is an established provider of residential care and supported living services for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, and complex support requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support and oversee multiple services across our portfolio, working closely with Registered Managers and the Senior Management Team to ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and service delivery.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide operational leadership across our services, supporting managers to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care while maintaining regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and mentoring Registered Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Driving quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
  • Conducting audits and service reviews.
  • Supporting safeguarding, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Building positive relationships with commissioners, professionals, and families.
  • Assisting with service development and growth opportunities.

About You

You will have:

  • Significant management experience within Health and Social Care.
  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or Mental Health needs.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality assurance systems.
  • Experience supporting or managing residential care homes and/or supported living services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Level 5 or above Leadership & Management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
