KIDS LOVE 2 PARTY – LEAD CHILDREN’S PARTY ENTERTAINER (TRAINING ROLE)

Paid training with progression to £80–£100 per party
Lead a team of three, supported by two additional entertainers
Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas
Casual PAYE | Zero-hour contract

Do you have experience working with children and the confidence to lead games, activities and entertainment?

Kids Love 2 Party are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable entertainer to join our growing team and progress into leading our children’s parties and events.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in children’s entertainment, childcare, education, performing arts, dance, drama, holiday clubs or youth work who is ready to take on greater responsibility.

We are looking for someone who can engage a group, bring enthusiasm and personality, and help create unforgettable experiences for children and families.

ABOUT US

No two events are ever the same. One weekend you may be entertaining at a birthday party, the next you could be supporting a festival, school workshop, holiday club, corporate family event or live stage show.

We have built a strong reputation with families and private clients, with many returning year after year.

OUR APPROACH

At Kids Love 2 Party, we do not impersonate or imitate copyrighted characters.

Instead, our entertainers use creativity, storytelling, drama, movement and imagination to bring events to life. We encourage our team to bring their own personality while delivering our company’s professional standards.

Our aim is to Create, Engage & Inspire, helping children feel welcome, confident and included.

YOUR ROLE AND TEAM

You will receive paid training in our company’s approach before being approved to lead events independently.

As a Lead Entertainer, you will lead a team of three, working alongside two additional entertainers who support activities, engage the children and help with setup and pack-down.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Hosting children’s parties with confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Leading games, dancing and interactive entertainment.
  • Using a microphone and communicating clearly with groups.
  • Adapting your delivery to different ages, interests and confidence levels.
  • Managing party timings and keeping children engaged.
  • Directing, encouraging and supporting your team.
  • Communicating professionally with parents, clients and venue staff.
  • Overseeing setup and pack-down.
  • Collecting, transporting and returning company equipment for events you lead.
  • Following safeguarding procedures and maintaining client confidentiality.

PAY AND PROGRESSION

Paid lead training:

  • £50 for a 1-hour party.
  • £60 for a 1½-hour party.
  • £70 for a 2-hour party.

Once approved to lead independently:

  • £80 for a 1-hour party.
  • £90 for a 1½-hour party.
  • £100 for a 2-hour party.

Progression is based on demonstrated skills, reliability and readiness to take responsibility for an event.

For experienced Lead Entertainers who demonstrate strong leadership, organisation and commitment, there is also a potential pathway into management as the business grows.

The durations above refer to entertainment time. Event fees include agreed setup and pack-down. Approved lead fees also include routine equipment collection and return. The full time commitment and duties are confirmed before each booking.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience working with children and confidently leading activities.
  • An engaging personality, expressive delivery and positive energy.
  • Reliability, punctuality and professional presentation.
  • Initiative and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Confidence taking responsibility and responding calmly to changes.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback and follow company standards.
  • Availability at weekends and during school holidays.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own suitable vehicle.
  • The ability to travel across Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Paid training and a clear route into a lead role.
  • Two additional entertainers supporting you at the parties you lead.
  • Company uniform provided.
  • Company equipment and resources.
  • A potential future pathway into management.
  • Opportunities across parties, festivals, corporate events and live stage shows.
  • Opportunities to develop performance and team leadership skills.
  • A creative, supportive team.
  • PAYE work on a casual, zero-hour basis.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply, send your CV and a brief introduction outlining your experience, availability and why this role interests you.

Please include your location and confirm that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, brings energy to every event and is ready to grow with us.
