Full job description

We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our team at Warner Brothers Discovery in Leavesden. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the production team. You will be expected to assist with the coordination of production activities, ensure that deadlines are met, and provide support to the production team.

Please note that this role is a temporary position, covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor production progress and ensure that deadlines are met.

-Provide support to the Physical Production Team, including EVP or SVP or VP, Production Manager, Finance, Post Production, Music, Prod Tech, Prod Security and Prod HR when required.

-Assist in the setting up of any offices required for production personnel to be based out of Leavesden studios and other designated locations including liaison with Studio Operations and Facilities.

-Issue Production Offices with a list of WBPL production requirements and templates that must be received on the required set basis; call sheets, progress reports, ensuring version control.

-Assist with crew searches via IMDb, The Knowledge and agents for new or existing productions across multiple productions.

-Arranging meetings with corporate departments as required.

-Co-ordinate and arrange travel requirements for SVP or VP and complete Concur expense process.

-Organise visitor access to the Studio via VMEasy and liaise with WBSL for permanent studio passes.

-Act as first point of call for visitors, incoming calls and WBPL queries.

-Complete stationery requests and orders, notifying department when deliveries have arrived.

-Arrange any required on site confidential shredding for WBPL departments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a production assistant role.
  • Knowledge of production processes and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
