Part-Time Temporary Production Unit Assistant

Alex Mitchell Butchers

Location: Production Unit, 13 Faraday Road, Glenrothes, KY6 2RU

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join us at our production unit on a temporary, part-time basis.

The Role

Hours: 16 hours per week

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Position: Temporary, until 31st December 2026

Additional hours: More hours may be available as we get closer to Christmas.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with packing and general production duties, as well as supporting our bakery team when required.

The role will also involve:

Following all food hygiene and food safety procedures

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Following and completing cleaning schedules

Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Ensuring the production area is kept clean, tidy and organised.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual

Hard-working and organised

A good team player

Able to work in a busy production environment

Willing to help across different areas of the business

Committed to maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
