Qualifications and Assessments Manager

CIM, The Chartered Institute of Marketing
- we support, develop and represent marketers, organisations and the profession all over the world. Our ability to award Chartered Marketer status recognises a marketer’s commitment to staying current and abiding by a professional Code of Conduct.

Permanent – Hybrid (2 days per week office based and 3 days remote)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 per annum + excellent range of benefits

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a personable and experienced people leader you’ll be managing your team (4 direct reports) enabling CIM to deliver outstanding results across the Qualifications and Apprenticeship areas of our organisation
  • You’ll be involved in the implementation of new initiatives and routes to study, including apprenticeships and qualifications within the CIM Awarding Organisation and End Point Assessment Organisation
  • You’ll assist the Head of Qualifications in developing and maintaining the full CIM qualifications portfolio during all phases of the journey from inception, launch, implementation to maintenance.
  • You’ll be responsible for the management of all processes relating to CIM’s role as an Apprenticeship End Point Assessment Organisation.
  • You’ll need to ensure CIM comply with the regulatory framework that affect the design, development and delivery of assessments through its Qualifications and Apprenticeship Standards.

What we'd like:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Experienced managing direct reports with a personable and empathetic approach
  • Great communication skills ensuring all objectives are clearly delivered and understood along with being receptive to a changing environment when required
  • Good understanding of assessment principles and practices for a range of assessment methods and techniques
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of the key requirements for design, development, delivery and maintenance of qualifications and assessments
  • Overall great management skills to lead, develop and help our team and organisation to soar.
