Registered Manager across multiple services – Learning Disabilities - Supported Living
Location: All Services located within close proximity to each other in Sleaford
Total compensation of up to £45,000: consisting of a basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus up to 10% performance-related bonus, ongoing development, training, and career advancement
Are you an experienced Registered Manager working with multiple sites, looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you have strong PBS knowledge and experience? Do you have a record of empowering staff to achieve under pressure? If the answer is "Yes" then this is an opportunity to put yourself in the spotlight. Not only will you manage some of Glenholme' most successful locations, you will have the opportunity to grow with us as we continue to expand with the opening of new services.
As the Registered Manager, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of 3 Supported Living services within Holdingham House, Holdingham Lodge and Meadowbeck, which are all positioned together in Sleaford. The client group is individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities & complex needs.
Holdingham House
Holdingham House was completed in 2020 and consists of six spacious rooms. Designed to cater to its residents' needs; the home features large communal living areas and activity rooms, and low arousal interiors. Each resident has their own private outdoor space as well as access to a communal garden. This service also has a sensory room that provides a multi-sensory environment with visual, tactile, and audible equipment that can be enjoyed passively and interactively.
Holdingham House is situated in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of the old market town Sleaford and is within walking distance to local amenities, including the supermarkets, gyms with swimming facilities, pubs, cafes and restaurants, a library, and parks. The area also boasts plenty of idyllic walking routes along waterways, around lakes, or in local small woodland areas. Specialist learning disability clubs are also located a train ride or a short distance away including access to local learning disability nightclub/disco.
Holdingham Lodge
Holdingham Lodge is a development of well-appointed one-bedroom and two-bedroom flats. The ground floor is disability-friendly, each flat has level floor access, height-adjustable kitchen worktops, and widened doors for individuals using wheelchairs. Further personalisation can be made following an assessment of individual requirements. Residents have access to an onsite gym. Ground floor flats have personal gardens and first-floor flats have a communal garden. The lodge is also protected by up-to-date security and safety technology.
The service also offers access to a spacious warm communal flat where tenants can go if they wish to socialise or need a bit of extra support 24/7. Holdingham Lodge is located on the outskirts of Sleaford, within walking distance of the high street with shops, cafes, restaurants, entertainment and community activities. This ensures service users can create positive links with the local and wider community.
Meadowbeck
Completed in 2022, Meadowbeck consists of eight studio flats. Designed to cater to its residents' needs; the home features large communal living areas and activity rooms, and low arousal interiors. Each resident has their kitchenettes and bathrooms as well as access to communal areas and a large shared kitchen.
Meadowbeck is situated in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of the old market town Sleaford, and is within walking distance of local amenities, including supermarkets, gyms with swimming facilities, pubs, cafes and restaurants, a library, and parks. The area also boasts plenty of idyllic walking routes along waterways, around lakes, or in local small woodland areas. Key Responsibilities as the Registered Manager;

  • To work with the people, we support and their families, supporting them in the decisions they make about how they live their lives and ensuring that personal needs are met.
  • Manage all aspects of running the home including but not limited to supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances, and management of medication.
  • Monitor activities and ensure quality of support and care is in line with the group's policy and sector regulatory standards.
  • Create a culture of team development and team working that aspires to the delivery of best practice for individuals using our services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to represent the organisation in an appropriate and professional manner in all internal and external contact and relationships.

Requirements as the Registered Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager for services working with individuals with a learning disability, autism, mental health conditions or associated complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in PBS.
  • Experience in supporting, developing, leading and empowering teams.
  • Relevant health or social care qualification (NVQ Level 5) or other professional qualifications eg; Nursing, OT, or social work.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of best practice in managing challenging behaviour utilising a positive behaviour support approach.
  • Willingness to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
