Full job description

We are looking for a lighting technician to join our busy production and demonstration department in High Wycombe. This is an exciting role where no two days will be the same. You will be looking after our extensive range of demonstration equipment, our 2 demonstration rooms, and preparing for a range of tradeshows and events each year.

The role would be ideal for a venue or production lighting technician who would like to use their skills and experience, but find a little more structure in their work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, maintaining and using a wide range of automated and LED lighting fixtures.
  • Preparing, maintaining and using various lighting consoles and control equipment.
  • Preparing lighting, rigging, video and audio equipment for exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of demonstrations and equipment.

Skills Required:

  • You will have knowledge of using moving lights, generic fixtures and lighting control systems.
  • You will be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/deadlines.
  • You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised.
  • You will have an eye for detail and accuracy
  • You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft office applications – Word/Excel
