We are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Account Manager to join our Conventions Sales Account Management Team. The role will focus on increasing the profitable occupancy of our Conventions venues by maximising the commercial value from existing conventions business (ICC, Vox, NEC Suites / Live Events).

Dedicated to a specific venue(s) / market segment (s), the role will have ownership and responsibility of achieving revenue and KPI targets set based on client base and value. Through effective account management, upselling and generating income via other commercial opportunities such as F&B (food and beverage), graphics and production, as well as cross selling across the Conventions venues, and securing repeat business.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a driven and self-motivated sales professional, with a proven track record of successfully building and managing relationships with clients to maximise profitability and business growth.
  • Have account management experience, with an ability to drive sales and increase revenue from existing business and build relationships to secure repeat business.
  • Have a good level of proven sales experience, delivering and managing sales targets, ideally within a similar industry or selling environment.
  • Have a drive and energy to exceed all targets – with a ‘hunting’ attitude and tenacity for the sale.
