Bank Care Assistant

We are looking for a Bank Care Assistant to join our small, friendly care home for older people.

Essential:

· Genuine interest and passion in working with vulnerable people

· Team Player

· Excellent communication skills

· Great time-keeper and reliable

· Comfortable working shifts

Desirable:

· SVQ Level 2 in Care

· Experience in working in health or social care

· Full Driving License

· Experience of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety procedures

About the role:

Bank Care Assistant for day and/or night shift. Shifts will be variable and will be discussed at interview stage. Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour. We offer competitive rates of pay, paid annual registration, Company Pension Scheme, support and training and development programmes.

· You will be assisting our residents with all aspects of their day to day life. Ability to provide help, support and attention where required.

· Communicating with colleagues and residences family about the type and level of care required.

· Assisting with domestic duties as required along with helping at mealtimes for residents and visitors.

· Organising and helping with events, activities and entertainment for residents and families.

· Maintaining log books and records as required.

· Ensuring the home is kept clean and tidy at all times.

· Always ensuring maximum safety & wellbeing.
