Love performing? Confident, energetic and great with children?

Captain Fantastic is looking for confident, reliable performers to join our team of freelance children’s entertainers across Kent.

You’ll lead high-energy children’s parties filled with magic, games, dancing, comedy and audience interaction, performing as characters including magicians, superheroes, scientists and disco hosts.

This role is ideal for actors, drama students, performers, presenters, teachers and confident people looking for flexible weekend work alongside other commitments.

No previous children’s party experience is needed. We provide practical training, established shows, costumes, equipment and ongoing support.

What you’ll do

• Host and lead children’s parties with confidence and energy
• Perform magic, games, dancing and interactive activities
• Learn and rehearse our established shows
• Set up and pack away party equipment
• Communicate professionally with parents and venues
• Create brilliant experiences children and families remember

What we’re looking for

• Confident, outgoing and comfortable performing in front of groups
• Great with children and comfortable leading a group
• Reliable, professional and punctual
• Willing to learn, rehearse and take feedback
• Available on Saturdays and/or Sundays
• A full UK driving licence and your own reliable vehicle

You’ll mainly travel to parties across Kent and nearby areas, so having your own vehicle is essential.

Experience in acting, performing, presenting, teaching, childcare or entertainment is useful, but personality, energy and reliability matter just as much.
