Full job description
Functional Assessor: Suitable for NMC and HCPC Adult registered Nurses, Paramedics, Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist – with 12-months of recent UK post qualification experience.
Starting salary of £43,875
Working hours – Fulltime only: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
Hybrid model of working – 3 days per week onsite and 2 days from your home address.
About you!
Are you a registered health care professional, in one of the above registrations, with 12 months post qualification experience working in the UK?
Are you looking for a role, where you can adapt your clinical and hands on experience into a desk based, assessment only position and not lose any of your precious clinical skills – in fact you will probably gain even more knowledge!
Are you interested in a job that ensures you are using your clinical skills daily with continual CPD and skill progression along the way?
And best yet! Are you ready to work a daytime shift, with no shift patterns, no on call and bank holidays off!
If so, then a Disability Assessor may be the perfect option for you!
What you need:
You will need to be confident with using a computer as the role is 50% administrative report writing and using a variety of systems and report-based templates.
You will need to be confident in your clinical knowledge of both physical and mental illness.
To be able to reliably commute to to your nearest location at least 3 days per week.
12 months of post registered experience as an Adult Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist or Paramedic Is a must!
Full right to work in the UK - Sorry but we don't currently offer sponsorship for this role!
What will you be doing?
Seeing clients, with numerous health concerns, assessing them based on both physical and mental health conditions. Using your clinical skills and assessing based purely on clinical evidence.
You will be assessing individuals holistically, to understand their need and requirements to obtain Personal independence payments. The personal independence payment will support the client with everyday tasks and costs, incurred following their conditions diagnosis.
With a thorough training induction and plenty of support along the way, you are in great hands, to start your journey as a PIP Disability Assessor.
The training induction is for 7 weeks full time, and you must be able to commit to the full 7 weeks, without holiday or ad-hoc days taken during this time - if applying for this role, be sure to let your Recruiter know of any pre booked leave you may have.
Our client offers a wealth of attractive benefits.
