Fundraising Executive/Account Manager

Superstars provide bespoke luxury experiences, hospitality, artwork, and memorabilia which we sell at events via our Silent Auction service. These events are some of the most prestigious and sought-after events across the world which include high profile charity dinners, business awards and prestigious sporting occasions. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to deliver the very best service to all our clients and customers. We offer a seamless service from start to finish with an extremely high level of attention to detail.

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Fundraising Executive (Account Manager) to join our expanding team, based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The right candidate will be able to mix the company’s product and services to provide our clients with the most effective fundraising solution.

As Fundraising Executive, you will be working as part of a collaborative and professional team for an established, independent business. You will be able pro-actively manage an existing portfolio of accounts. You must also be able to develop new leads from existing clients and reach out for new business, ultimately establishing your own accounts over time. Currently we support 500 events a year through our silent auction service. This is to the likes of Premiership Football clubs, Formula One, England rugby, cricket, music concerts and many other sporting and entertainment events throughout the year. This is in addition to charity gala dinners, awards ceremonies, golf days, schools and much more. Attention to detail and building relationships with our ever-growing database, whilst attracting new business relations, is vital within this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain strong client partnerships with existing customers.
  • Proactively generate and follow up new and past leads.
  • Update and maintain customer databases.
  • Assisting and advising customers with enquiries on sales and services.
  • Work with other departments to maximise stock sales.
  • Be accountable for personal retention and sales targets.
  • Conduct trend analysis of past auctions to aid future auctions.
  • Providing first-class customer service levels to all clients and customers.
  • From time to time managing and supporting our silent auction service on site at events. This may include international trips.
  • Develop a deep and detailed understanding & knowledge of company products and markets.
  • Manage all administration for pre and post auctions.
  • Ensure customers are communicated to with the agreed timeframes.
  • Forecast and track key metrics and undertake regular reporting both internally and externally.
  • Active monitoring of the cost efficiency and overall performance of our auctions.

Ideal Person

  • Self-motivated to exceed targets.
  • Highly personable, with strong relationship building skills.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively across all levels, both to customers and colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic with a pro-active approach.
  • Proficiency in handling multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Brilliant organisational and time management abilities with a capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to be flexible when required.
  • Must have full driving licence.
  • Computer literate as a custom-built CRM is required for day-to-day work.
  • Previous account management experience is essential.

Package & Benefits

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) + uncapped commission + bonus scheme.

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm, office based.
