We are looking for an Activity Instructor to join our team at Piran Meadows Resort in Newquay, Cornwall.

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 37.5 hours across 5 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

NPLQ training will be provided for the right candidate.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. This will be paid by Darwin Escapes.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Activity Instructor will

• Work with the Leisure team to deliver the activities programme to guests.
• Help organise activities such as mini jet skis, water walkers, archery, etc.
• Frequent checks of leisure areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure the leisure areas are kept clear and safe.
• Recognise any issues and deal with them immediately.
• Check and record guest passes.
• Advise guests on the activity programmes.
• Record any accidents and administer First Aid, as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A current NPLQ is desirable however not essential. A driving license and the ability to drive is advantageous to enable you to get to and from the resort easily. Pool Plant and First Aid qualifications are an advantage.

Desired Criteria

• A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort
