Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for the person with the right skills to join our motivated team at MG Homes. We are two care homes providing residential nursing care to older people. The candidate is expected to design a forward programme that balances mental stimulation, physical activity, wellness, fun, meaning and social activity.

Skills required:

  • An excellent communicator including written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • A person who has a natural caring attitude towards residents, and able to work unsupervised
  • An organiser who can liaise with external entertainers and agencies such as the Alzheimer’s Society
  • Work effectively in a team
  • Able to deliver the activities programme across the Homes
  • Produce an ongoing programme of events (in-house entertainment, outings and group activities) which are both mentally and physically stimulating and of interest to our residents
  • Previous experience of working within a Care Home setting is desirable but not essential.

Ideally you will have experience or qualification in this or similar areas.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
