Love making people’s night? Join us for Christmas!

XscapeNow in Telford is gearing up for our busiest time of year, and we need some extra hands to help guests have a brilliant time over the festive season. With Christmas parties, work dos, family get-togethers and our new on-site bar and pizza van, it’s going to be a busy one, and we want friendly, upbeat people on the team.

This is a temporary role running through the festive period, with shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends based on customer bookings.

What you’ll be doing

  • Welcoming guests and getting them excited before their game
  • Setting the scene, explaining how everything works and answering questions
  • Keeping an eye on games while they’re running and helping out where needed
  • Resetting rooms quickly and accurately between groups
  • Making sure every group leaves buzzing and wanting to come back

What we’re looking for

You don’t need any experience with escape rooms or games. We’ll teach you all of that. What matters is that you’re good with people. You should be:

  • Friendly, outgoing and confident chatting to groups of all sizes, from couples to big office parties
  • Calm and upbeat when it gets busy
  • Reliable, hardworking and happy to pitch in as part of a team
  • A quick learner who can use your own initiative
  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends, late evenings and the occasional short-notice cover
  • Someone with a good sense of humour who enjoys making other people’s day

What you’ll get

Pay: £10-£13 an hour.

Hours: Temporary, part-time, from November to early January. Hours vary depending on bookings and aren’t guaranteed, so flexibility is important.
