Graduate Trainee Research Executive

Market Measures | Winchester | Hybrid working, minimum 3 days in the office | September start preferred, flexible

Market Measures is an independent UK insights consultancy based in Winchester, helping FMCG, retail and hospitality brands make better decisions through robust, actionable research. We are a small, friendly and hands-on team with 40 years of experience, combining rock-solid research credentials with a collaborative and fun way of working.

We are looking for a Graduate Trainee Research Executive to join us, ideally from September, although we can be flexible for the right person. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is curious about people, brands and behaviour, and keen to start a career in market research.

You will gain experience across the full research process, including:

  • Understanding client briefs and business questions
  • Helping to design qualitative and quantitative research
  • Supporting fieldwork and handling data processing and analysis
  • Turning findings into clear stories and associated insights
  • Contributing to reports and client presentations

Our work spans food, drink, health and wellness, personal care, retail and wider consumer sectors, and we also partner with consultancies on behalf of their clients.

You do not need previous market research experience, but you should be bright, organised, numerate, curious and confident working with both words and numbers. You will be joining a team where everyone, from trainees to directors, gets stuck in at every stage of a project.

What we offer

A structured but hands-on introduction to market research, exposure to well-known brands and real client challenges, and the chance to learn directly from experienced senior researchers in a supportive, established and growing agency.

Please send your CV and a short covering note explaining why you are interested in starting your career in market research with Market Measures to Rach at: Rachelcristofoli@marketmeasures.co.uk .
