Full job description

E-commerce Executive (Graduate considered) — skinChemists / Skin Research Ltd
London N1 (Angel) ·

Full-time

The role

We're a London beauty group running ten skincare brands — skinChemists, Dr Botanicals, Skin Pharmacy, Organic & Botanic and others — selling direct-to-consumer and through retail partners in the UK, Europe and the US.

This role helps run the day-to-day trading of our UK direct channels, working across Shopify, Klaviyo and TikTok Shop, reporting directly to the founder. We're open on experience: if you've done a placement year, run your own store or side project, or come out of a marketing or business degree with real commercial instincts, we want to hear from you. What matters is that you're numerate, curious and want to learn the trade properly rather than sit in one narrow lane.

What you'll do

  • Help trade the UK Shopify store — product pages, collections, promotions, merchandising
  • Build and send Klaviyo campaigns, and learn to own the automated flows behind them
  • Support TikTok Shop activity — content, creators, affiliate and live selling
  • Pull the weekly numbers on revenue, AOV and conversion, and start forming a view on what they mean
  • Get involved in launches, pricing and stock across the brand portfolio

What we're looking for

  • 0–3 years' experience — graduates and career changers welcome
  • Genuinely comfortable with numbers; you can work a spreadsheet without flinching
  • Clear written English — a lot of this job is emails, product copy and campaigns
  • Interest in beauty and in TikTok as a place people actually buy things
  • Self-starting. We're a lean team, so you'll be given real responsibility early and expected to run with it

Helpful, not essential

  • Any hands-on Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads or TikTok Shop exposure — including a personal or university project
  • A placement year or internship in e-commerce, retail or marketing
  • A second European language

What you get

  • Direct access to the founder and a proper grounding in how a multi-brand e-commerce business actually works
  • Training on the platforms — we'd rather teach the right person than settle for the wrong one
  • Product allowance and 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays

To apply

Send your CV and a short note — three or four sentences on an online store you rate, and one thing you'd change about it. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short practical task before interview.
