Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Insolvency Administrator to join our professional team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing insolvency cases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting clients through complex financial restructuring processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in specialising within insolvency and corporate recovery, providing valuable experience within a reputable organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases from inception through to completion, including administration of liquidation, voluntary arrangements, and bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate case documentation, reports, and correspondence in accordance with statutory obligations.
  • Liaise effectively with creditors, debtors, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progress.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for creditors’ meetings and court hearings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies throughout case management.
  • Support senior team members with complex case analysis and administrative tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and client service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or strong interest in insolvency or corporate recovery environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Insolvency Act 1986 is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • A professional attitude with integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
