Full-Time Dental Receptionist

Location: SW14 (East Sheen, Richmond)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent

About Us

We are a busy, long-established mixed dental practice in the heart of East Sheen, providing high-quality general and aesthetic dentistry. Our practice prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly, professional, and supportive environment.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our team and become an integral part of our growing practice.

The Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate will be organised, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression of the practice.
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Managing appointment bookings, recalls, and clinicians' diaries.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Processing payments and handling financial transactions.
  • Managing daily reception administration duties.
  • Assisting with patient queries and resolving concerns efficiently.
  • Handling complaints professionally and in accordance with practice procedures.
  • Opening and closing the practice and acting as a key holder when required.
  • Working closely with the clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am – 6:00pm
One Saturday per month: 8:30am – 1:30pm

We are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a dental reception or administrative role.
  • Previous experience using Dentally software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A professional, punctual, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring and compassionate approach towards patients.
