Transport Planner

Hours - Mon- Fri 08.30 - 18.00 - Immediate Start

Duties will include

  • Planning drivers routes and running live plan **No experience required. Full on job training Provided**
  • Telephone communication to customers and drivers
  • Support Ops
  • Using Microsoft products and bespoke software
  • Compiling job lists
  • Sending and replying to emails
  • Problem solving during a live daily transport plan
  • Printing and photocopying as required.
  • On call out of hours phone rota.

Required skills

  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work well under pressure. Fast paced Transport environment
  • Able to use all Microsoft products
  • Ability to learn new bespoke computer software
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to work as a team

Job Type: Full-time
