We are looking for Clothing Banks Project Coordinator for the growth of our clothing bank network. We work with one of the most recognised charities in the country Cancer Research UK raising money and supporting the community to provide a necessary recycling service. As a Clothing Banks Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing new, suitable locations for banks, acquiring permissions, and the relevant authorisations for the placement of all textile banks within the area. Full training will be provided all you need is a mobile phone, access to the internet and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and identify potential new locations for clothing banks, such as businesses, community centres, shops, within the designated operational area.

- This role involves lots of phonecalls/emails and record keeping

- To best identify locations with lots of research on google maps

- Initiate contact with site owners and to propose the placement of clothing bank and secure necessary permissions.

- Maintain positive relationships with site owners addressing any queries or issues promptly and professionally.

Necessary skills and experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently for long periods

- Can gather lots of information and concentrate for extended periods

- Word and google maps software sufficient

- To be able to follow a script to engage with the business and answer any questions about our service they might have

- To have access to a mobile phone and internet – A business tablet will be provided if required

- Highly motivated

Preferred Experience and skills

- Sales experience with ability to build relationships and communicate effectively

- Experience in negotiation or sales would be beneficial.

- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred
