Full job description

Airship is the leading end-to-end external art and co-development studio for the global gaming industry. We've partnered with some of the biggest names in gaming—EA, 2K, Guerrilla, Sony, 343 Industries, Ubisoft, and Microsoft—to bring their flagship titles to life with stunning visuals and seamless development support.

We are driven by a deep passion for games, a commitment to innovation, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced development environment. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work that meets our clients’ needs—on time, every time.

What we are looking for:

We are looking to expand our Environment Artist freelance pool in response to an increase in upcoming work. Due to the mix of projects we are open to all styles of Environment art.

Please note that this is not an application for a specific or currently active vacancy. Instead, we are seeking to build/grow our global network of freelance artists whom we will contact as suitable projects arise.

If your skills and experience align with an upcoming project, we may contact you at short notice. Equally, if there are no projects that match your skill set, you may not hear from us for some time. Joining the pool therefore does not guarantee that you will be offered work.

If, following our review, you do not meet the requirements for our Environment Artist freelance pool, we will contact you in due course to let you know. This ensures that you are kept informed of the outcome of your application.
