Job Role - HSE Risk Assessor
Location - Manchester
Salary - £55,000 DOE
Job Type - Permanent

Role Summary / Purpose and Scope

An opportunity has arisen for an HSE Risk Assessor, based from our clients Manchester office, to conduct compliance audits nationally in line with ISO and British Standards applicable to the Company's management of Fire, Health & Safety risks and Environmental aspects.

  • Conduct internal Fire, Health & Safety and Environmental audits/risk assessments at all sites nationally within scope, in accordance with the audit schedule.
  • Carry out all risk assessments in line with best practice and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate external audits with certification bodies in accordance with UKAS requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance as appropriate while undertaking assessments and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Ensure identified non-conformities are progressed to satisfactory conclusions.
  • Develop relationships with clients, teams and suppliers to harness innovation, and explore future practices, technology and trends to influence service delivery.

Experience
Essential:
  • NEBOSH Fire and Health and Safety
  • IOSH Tech (minimum)
  • Driving licence and use of own vehicle
Desirable:
  • NEBOSH Environmental, ISEP Internal Auditor course, or IEMA Internal Auditor course
  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • ISEP membership
  • Property management experience
