This position combines office-based work with regular fieldwork and offers the chance to support major incident response for significant Tier 2 and Tier 3 marine pollution events. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality environmental solutions for clients across the UK.

  • Carrying out soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and data interpretation.
  • Preparing environmental and controlled waters risk assessments.
  • Overseeing containment, clean‑up, and remediation operations.
  • Producing high‑quality technical reports for clients and regulators.
  • Liaising with the Environment Agency, SEPA, NRW, and other key stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple projects to ensure timely, compliant delivery within budget.
  • Supporting internal training delivery and mentoring junior team members.
  • Providing technical input for commercial proposals and identifying new opportunities.

  • Experience in site investigation, contaminated land assessment, and water quality monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and technical report‑writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
